Jean-Baptiste Boudier farms a mere 15 acres spread across the villages of Pernand-Vergelesses (where his winery is located), Aloxe-Corton, Savigny Les Beaune, and Ladoix-Serrigny. With the largest production cuvée totaling a humble five barrels, attention to detail is key here. His wines, both red and white, show remarkable precision, realizing the great potential of his vineyards. In the words of his American importer, “There is an addictive vibrancy and energy to the lineup that announce the arrival of an immense talent to the Côte de Beaune.” This Pernand-Vergelesses, produced from three small parcels, is fresh and delicate, elegant and precise, with aromas of white orchard fruits and tropical notes.

2018 Domaine Tawse Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru ‘Les Lavières’
Marchand-Tawse is a leading Burgundian negociant and domaine (Domaine Tawse) based in Beaune, producing a wide range of wines from Chardonnay. These range from regional Bourgogne wines to those at the Grand Cru level. It has an attractive bouquet of yellow flowers and lime aromas that is not overly complex, but pure. The palate is light and saline on the entry, showing modest.
