Italian wine. Produced in the Bricco Quaglia hills in Bionzo, a small hamlet of Costigliole d'Asti.  Manual harvest, where only the best bunches are selected and collected into small wooden crates. Then grapes are gently pressed.Fermentation on skins, for about 7-8 days. Aged in barriques for 12 months. The colour is intense ruby-red. The bouquet is fresh cherry and raspberry, spices. On the palate is sweet and plummy fruit with an impressive vigor, length and freshness.  Serve at 18-20°C. This wine has aging potential of 8 - 10 years.  This wine can accompany a multi-course meal: savory appetizers such as cured meats, hearty pasta dishes, rich red or white meat, and a cheese platter to close.
