Domaine Antonin Guyon Savigny Les Beaune Goudelettes 2019

The second-generation now manage this domaine, founded by Antonin in the 1960s. Based in Savigny-les-Beaune, they own vines throughout the Cote d'Or, including parcels in some of the finest Premier and Grand cru vineyards. Harvest is by hand, with initial sorting in the vineyard; no more than 50% new oak is used, and the wines of the domaine have a classic freshness and purity to them. Very nice purple robe with a nose of small red fruits. Elegant, well balanced with very fine tannins. This wine can be kept for eight to ten years. Serve with roasted meats poultry and soft cheeses. ABV: 13.5% Size: 750mL Region: France Grape: Pinot Noir

Domaine François Buffet Volnay 2017

Domaine François Buffet is a Burgundy family-run domaine, which dates back to 1692, and is currently managed by Marc-Olivier, son of François, though still with help from his parents. The family had a very successful negociant business, under the name Ferdinand Buffet. Marc-Olivier made the most of the excellent quality to produce a superb Burgundy with elegant, fragrant fruit. Berry and subtle rose petal aromas preface complex, ripe, red berries with silky tannins, a complex, earthy leafy layer and subtle spice from the 18 months in oak. A handsome partner for roast duck, a wild mushroom croustade or venison with ceps. ABV: 13.0% Size: 750mL Grape: Pinot Noir Region: France
