        The Bouchard wine estate is located in a beautiful location on the rich Burgundian terroirs. The vineyard stretches 48km that runs from north to south, encompassing over 450 plots of diverse soil qualities and climatic conditions. At Domaine Bouchard Pere & Fils, the winemaking team practices sustainable winemaking practices to respect the soil where the grapes are grown. The fruits are carefully hand-harvested, before they are sorted in a small parcel. Every bottle produced here reflects the true character of the divine soil structure of the Burgundy region. Intense color. Very aromatic bouquet of small ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry, currant). Beautiful flesh in mouth, a delicious marriage where tannins and fruits are pleasantly mixed.         Justin Girardin Santenay 1er Clos Rousseau 2017

        On the southern extremity of the Santenay vineyard is this climate, on the border with the Maranges. With a beautiful exposition to the south-east and a relief marked by many cracks, the Clos Rousseau is an excellent terroir. The soil is more thick and clayey than Beauregard and covered of limestone marls which drain the moisture and help to freshen up the vines during the summer. This gives a rich wine, well structured and with a great cellaring potential. This Santenay is a food wine, structured, powerful and with a beautiful dress, very ripe red fruit aromas.         Domaine Antonin Guyon Savigny Les Beaune Goudelettes 2019

        The second-generation now manage this domaine, founded by Antonin in the 1960s. Based in Savigny-les-Beaune, they own vines throughout the Cote d'Or, including parcels in some of the finest Premier and Grand cru vineyards. Harvest is by hand, with initial sorting in the vineyard; no more than 50% new oak is used, and the wines of the domaine have a classic freshness and purity to them. Very nice purple robe with a nose of small red fruits. Elegant, well balanced with very fine tannins. This wine can be kept for eight to ten years. Serve with roasted meats poultry and soft cheeses.         Founded in 1731, Maison Bouchard Père & Fils is one of Burgundy’s oldest wine merchant houses. Over the centuries, the House has been devoted to acquiring highly renowned parcels, in order to build a prestigious domaine. Nice dark garnet colour with brown to mauve shades. Complex bouquet associating perfumes of jammy red fruit, fig, peony with a hint of chocolate. Harmonious and deep palate, with a beautiful maturity and dense but fine tannins. An attractive wine.         Domaine Cyrot Buthiau Pommard 2019

        Paul-Joseph Cyrot, at the time director of the Château de Pommard and Clos de Tart Morey-Saint-Denis, founded this estate in the 1920s. Four generations have followed each other since, at the Domaine, each bringing new parcels of vines: Burgundy, Volnay, Maranges 1er Cru, Santenay 1er Cru, Pommard and Pommard 1er Cru, an exceptional terroir for Pinot Noir. The Pommard of the Domaine Cyrot-Buthiau come from old vines having an average age of about forty years. Medium red in the glass with a pronounced bouquet of red fruit, violets and earth.         Francois Carillon Monthelie Rouge 2019

        Domaine François Carillon is located in Puligny-Montrachet, in Burgundy. Created in 2010, the estate now covers more than 16 hectares in the municipalities of Puligny-Montrachet, Chassagne-Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, and produces more than 15 different appellations, mainly in Chardonnay. Respect for the environment is one of the fundamental values ​​to which François Carillon is attached. Thanks to integrated pest management, very few inputs are used and the few treatment products are of natural origin. This is a lovely find.         Domaine Stephane Magnien Morey St Denis VV 2019

        The Stéphane Magnien Morey-Saint-Denis "Vieilles Vignes," is from 45 to 65 year-old vines in "Clos Solon" and "Cognés" on clay/limestone soils. The 2017 shows a deep red/black color and is initially less aromatic than the "Grains Fins," then shows dark black cherry and strawberry confit with hints of spice, roast meat and licorice. The palate is dense and sappy with deep strawberry and black cherry fruit, quite dense and long with hints of mint, stone and bitter chocolate, finishing with firm acidity and saline minerals. This offers superb quality for a "village" Morey-Saint-Denis and will repay 3 to 5 yars of cellaring, then drink until 2035.
