        Blason d’Issan Margaux 2019

        $380.00
Blason d'issan is the second wine of Château d'issan, the third Grand Cru Classé in 1855 from the Margaux appellation. It is made from a blend of young vines 52% Cabernet Sauvignon and 48% Merlot matured in 35% new oak. Decanter describes it as "rather lovely... It has a real depth to the fruit, with a brush of caramel through it and a highly appealing cigar box twist on the finish. It doesn't quite have the voluptuous ripeness of 2015 and 2016, but there's plenty of Margaux elegance, precision and touches of florality." 94 The 2017 Château Blason d'Issan is medium bodied with a light touch of tannin; good fruit core and an earthy finish. Drinking window 2022 - 2032. ABV: 13% Size: 750mL Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Region: Margaux, Bordeaux, France

        Château Croizet-Bages Pauillac 2017

        $480.00
The last few vintages show a wonderful evolution in quality, with wines of great density and depth, power and refinement. This is also evidenced by the new vintage of the estate’s Grand Vin, the Château Croizet-Bages 2017. With a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (65%) complemented by Merlot (35%), the Château Croizet-Bages 2017 reveals all the power of a great Pauillac through a wine that expresses great elegance and refinement. With a beautiful maturity, the palate evolves a nice structure, with subtle tannins reflecting the precise extractions, while the powerful finish offers beautiful length. An elegant Pauillac that does not lack character. ABV: 13.5% Size: 750mL Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Region: Pauillac, Bordeaux, France

Chateau Grand Puy Ducasse Pauillac 2015

The 2015 Grand-Puy-Ducasse is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, matured in around 40% new oak, bottled in June 2017. It has a lighter bouquet than its peers, but is clean and pure and shows none of the greenness that afflicted older vintages of this estate. It has a floral tincture—hints of rose petal and peony complementing the redcurrant and blackcurrant fruit. ABV: 14% Size: 750mL Grape: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot Region: Pauillac, Bordeaux, France
