El Nudo was born in 2014 from the union of cousins Facundo Cahiza and Roberto Cahiza. There is a clear objective in the Cahiza cousins implicit in the name of the wine and on its label, which shows a rocking chair. It is the memory of the grandmother, of the origins of the Cahiza in Mendoza, of those industrious hands and of these, younger but heirs of that custom that are looking for quality, more than anything else, seeking to “do something good.”
The grapes are hand-picked and fermented using indigenous yeasts in stainless steel. Ageing in French oak barrels adds the perfect finish to the wine, leaving an aroma that is reminiscent of ripe red fruits and blackberries with notes of freshly picked roses.

M. Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone Belleruche Blanc has a bright golden yellow hue. The nose is intense and expressive with notes of apricot, fennel and floral aromas. Complex and very elegant on the palate, with whispers of smoke and hazelnut accent fresh, cutting white peach and pear in this full-bodied yet zesty dry white. Predominantly Grenache Blanc, it’s a sumptuous sip given lift and edge by smaller proportions of Clairette and Bourboulenc. The finish is intensely mineral.

the 2019 M Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Blanc Les Granilites is a strong effort, these Marsanne grapes hail from the steep, fine-grained granite slopes inferred by the cuvée’s name. There are enticing aromas of ripe apricot and pear on the nose, strung together by a fine steely, stony note. The palate is mouth-watering yet balanced, and showing remarkably intense flamed citrus zest and even marmalade-like scents on the nose. In the mouth, this full-bodied wine is round and generous, almost honeyed, yet finishes long and zesty, with attractively mouthwatering, briny echoes on the finish.

An intense wine with blackcurrant and raspberry notes complemented by notes of white pepper. The wine is juicy, powerful and fruity on the palate with lovely roasted notes, and silky, delicate tannins. Pair with grilled roasted red and white meats.
