Domaine de La Janasse Côtes-du-Rhône are cultivated without the use of pesticides, herbicides or insecticides. The average yields are 46 hectolitres per hectare, and the harvest is carried out manually. Once in the winery, 80% of the harvest is destemmed and macerated for a period of 12 to 15 days. Lastly, the wine undergoes ageing for 6 to 9 months in foudres. In the wine the Grenache predominates, with the Mourvèdre and the Syrah playing a secondary role, and the Cinsault providing the final touch.
It develops notes of fresh fruit, juiced strawberry and blackberries, accompanied by a touch of licorice and spices. It is a moderately tannic wine and is pleasantly sweet and easy to drink.

he fruity Kabinett from the Bernkasteler Badstube shows cool fruit and floral-spicy aromas in the fragrance. On the palate, delicate and elegant tropical fruit with herbal tart notes. The zesty acidity supports the aromatic development and provides excellent transport of flavors and minerality. The gossamer sweet fruit seems finely placed and is the perfect counterpoint to the grippy and very present slaty minerality. Shows animatingly playful on the finish with a spicy-sweet aftertaste. Tournon by M Chapoutier Shays Flat Shiraz 2015
Named after a locale in the Australian Pyrenees, Shay’s Flat is produced on an east facing ridge in the southern foothills. It appears as a natural amphitheater with red soils of schist, quartz and rich clay. The vineyard features ten hectares of Shiraz in two parcels.
The Shay’s Flat vineyard sits at an altitude of 350m in the Western Pyrenees Ranges and is organically farmed. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. A small proportion of the wine is aged in tanks to preserve the freshness of the flavours.
Complex nose of black fruits (cheery, blackberry) with hints of tobacco (havana cigar). On the palate, aromas of black fruits and liquorice with supple and delicate tannins.
